We’ve taken our cars here several times, and normally the service is fine. The last time, however, we wanted to have our air conditioner fixed on our old car, but asked for the price before we gave the ok time move forward. They called with the price, we ok’d the service, and then were told it would be ready Friday (probably). On Friday we called later in the day and were told it wouldn’t be done until Monday (fine, I’m sure they’re busy right now), and the price went up $150 because they forgot to tell us about a recharge fee. I also work for a local small business and can tell you if myself or another staff member failed to mention a $150 charge in our services, we would need to eat that charge instead of passing it along to the customer when the service is already in process, and it was only ok’d to move forward based on a lesser charge. In these times $150 is a lot to spring on someone for a somewhat-optional service, and we’re disappointed in the lack of transparency in pricing up front.
