Parker automotive was great at first. They got our car in there quickly and said they would be happy to take a look and told us what was going on with our car. Unfortunately that was where the pleasantries we decided not to do any repairs because the cost they quoted to fix the car was more than the car was worth over 8k to which they responded well we offer financing. They included several absolutely unecessary repairs in their quote like a missing license plate screw and wiper blade change which were completely unrelated to the issue at hand and to boot they are charging an obscene amount per hour close to $160 to do these menial things. When we decided not to do the work they decided to charge us for an inspection for which totally blind sided us and I'm sure they would not have charged us for if we had them do the work. Cost us over $70 to have them look at it. Time which they spent looking at things we did not ask them to look at. Their motto is we only fix what you need which unfortunately is misleading because their definition of "need" is fast and loose.
HI Alex. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you did not have a good experience. We would just like to clarify a few things that maybe were not made clear when we delivered the vehicle back to you. Every vehicle that comes in the shop receives a multi-point inspection so that we may give you all the information about your car so that you can make an informed decision on repairs. The diagnostic fee covers the concern you brought the vehicle in for. There was no labor charge to install the wiper blades, you will see listed next to the hourly labor rate there is a 0 and on the right hand side it shows $0. Also, we recommended the replacement of the license plate bulb, not a screw. In the state of Colorado, your license plate light bulbs must be visible at night or you can receive a ticket. It is our job to inspect vehicles and recommend what they need mechanically and make suggestions. We do not expect our customers to have all repairs done at once, we are always happy to prioritize. Also, we strive to stay at a competitive labor rate, which is determined by local averages and several other factors that are industry standard.
