I recently took our old 1998 Ford Taurus to Parker Automotive to have the power steering looked at. I was confident that the power steering pump was going bad. Unfortunately I was correct and they replaced it with a remanufactured pump...note here due to age new are not available...the replacement pump worked well for about 2 weeks. Then also went bad.. another note...a few years ago i worked for a parts house supplying parts to Repair shops...this is something that can happen with remanufactured parts and is beyond the control of a repair shop. Question now is how does the shop respond.... Parker was great. They stood behind their work and replaced with another. This however now blew the seals on the rack and pinion. Ouch. But again they did what they could to help. Being new to the area and with my Automotive background i was very pleased with both the service and their support. Bottom line .. i would highly recommend this shop and will be my go to in the future.
