These guys are great. I bought an old 1970's Lincoln that was bombing the Emissions test, and unfortunately it wasn't old enough to meet the exemption law in Colorado. I am mechanically inclined, and performed extensive work, a full turn up and adjusted everything on the car to factory specs, however it still was running double the allowed readings on the second test and I just could not get it to pass. I talked to numerous shops in the area, and they either seemed inconvenienced, not confident in working on such an old car, or they would immediately see dollar signs and start naming off all the expensive emissions components they knew they were going to replace, almost in what seemed like an effort to sound discouraging. I read the reviews for Parker Automotive, and gave them a try. They were very friendly and seemed more than willing to take the challenge on without suggesting alot of unnecessary new parts. I don't know what sorcery they have at work, but after just an hour labor charge, they made some adjustments to the car, and it passed the test quite literally reading about 1/16 what it was before. I do most automotive repairs myself, but I would definitely use these guys again, and will recommend them to anyone looking for an honest repair shop.
